I hope everyone had a great weekend! There's only 12 school days to go! 

8B and 8C: your Chapter 6 project is due Thursday and presentations will start that day as well. Please work on your project at home if needed! 
*Current Events due June 12th

8D and 8G: if you haven't already done so, please hand in your Avatar film study as it is worth a lot of marks! Your Avatar symbolism posters are due tomorrow!

Final Exam Schedule: 

LA Written Final (essay): 8D June 18th and 8G June 19th
Social 8 Final: June 21st
Science Final: June 24th
Math Final: June 25th
LA Final (reading portion): June 26th

Wednesday, December 13th

Here's what we did today -   8B LA   - No class today due to assembly! Please  continue working on the two projects  for our TIC TAC TOE (Due Dec 21).  8E LA   - Today, we listened to chapter 10.  Please make sure that you are caught up on your novel study questions (ch. 1-7) and your TIC TACT TOE (everything is due Dec 21!). 9A Social  - No class today due to assembly! Please check Powerschool for your chapter 2 assessment and political cartoon marks.  Supreme Court New Addition due December 19th 9E   Social  - Today, started talking about chapter 3 - Individual Rights and Freedoms Supreme Court New Addition due December 19th Seeing as the Christmas Holidays are right around the corner, ELJHS is participating in their annual Turkey Drive fundraiser again this year. $20 buys a family in need a turkey dinner. I hope everyone had a great weekend and you are ready for a busy week!  8B and 8C Social - Your Chapter 5 Test is tomorrow!!  Remember to review the vocabulary as well.  *Your new Current Event is due June 4th!  8D and 8G LA - Your poetry projects need to be handed in tomorrow!
