Monday, October 16th - Election Day!

Be sure to keep an eye on the Municipal Election tonight! 

 Here's what we did today - 

8B LA  - today we read The Monkey's Paw - tomorrow we will analyze it's plot structure. 

8E LA  - we finished watching World Trade Center and completed a reflection on it in our journals

9A Social - we worked on an activity about the role of MPs and Senators in the legislative branch after reading pages 31-33
Invictus Games CE due October 23rd

Wednesday, May 22nd

Here's what happened today:  Social 8A and 8C:  Today, we read about how Japan responded to all the pressure to open their borders. Please review pages 177-179 if needed.  Social 8G:  Today, we talked about the strict roles in Japanese society, including the samurai code of Bushido.  Social  9B:  Today, we continued watching the documentary film, Sicko, which presents some of the differences between public and private health care systems.  All Students: WEM Activity Day Permission Forms are now on Powerschool. Please fill out ASAP to ensure a spot!  Important Dates Coming Up: Friday, May 31st - Activity Day @ WEM Wednesday, June 5th - Early Dismissal and ALL CE DUE

LAST BLOG of the YEAR!!!

Thank you, everyone, for the incredible year at ELJHS. As most of you know, this is my last year here as I am moving into administration at Ecole Champs Vallee in Beaumont in September.  I wish you all the best, wherever life takes you.
