Here's what we did today - 8B LA - Today, we wrote a three sentence prediction about what we think will happen in The Giver and started our character poster of Jonas. 8E LA - Today, we listened to Chapter 1 of The Outsiders. We also started working on the novel study questions and created our character posters that we will work on throughout the novel. 9A Social - Today, we started thinking about what topic/issue we will create our political cartoon about. Supreme Court New Addition due December 19th 9E Social - Today, started talking about chapter 3 - Individual Rights and Freedoms Supreme Court New Addition due December 19th Seeing as the Christmas Holidays are right around the corner, ELJHS is participating in their annual Turkey Drive fundraiser again this year. $20 buys a family in need a turkey dinner.
