Welcome Back! Monday April 3rd

Welcome back everyone! I hope you all had a restful Spring Break. With April being a fresh, new month, I am hopeful it's also the start to a great 3 last months of school! With 54 days of school left, it's high time to kick it in gear and get caught up on missing work and focus on boosting your grade! 

Please come and see me if you have work you need further help with! 
Work that needs to be completed: 

8B and 8D LA - continue working on rough draft of Dystopian/Utopian short story. Planning page, rough draft and final draft will ALL be due Friday!

TGI... Friday, March 16th

Here's what we did today:  LA 8B  -  Today, we showcased our Genius Hour projects to the class. We completed a self-reflection on how we felt we did. We also started a research assignment (in pairs) for the novel we will start after Spring Break, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. LA 8E -   Today, we had our free reading block in the library and also spent a block working on our Genius Hour assignments. Please make sure they are complete for Tuesday. *You will NOT have class time on Monday. Social 9A  - Today, we completed a formative quiz on economics and started a case study assignment about the Canadian entertainment industry (On Google Classroom - due Monday).  Chapter 6 assessment - Wednesday, March 21st Italy's Election CE due MONDAY!    *Don't forget about Homeroom Wars on March 21st!
