Here's what we did today: 

LA 8B - Today, finished reading the short story, The Veldt, by Ray Bradbury. We watched the music video for the song, The Veldt, by DeadMau5. We will continue to work on the assigned questions tomorrow.

LA 8E - No class today. Please be sure that you complete your Film Techniques assignment for tomorrow.

Social 9A - Today, we wrote the chapter 8 assessment. We also started looking at review materials for the PAT exam. Your  Political Party project is due Tomorrow! 
Iran Nuclear Deal CE due May 31st

Social 9E - Today, we completed some practice PAT questions. We also looked at and defined climate change and its effects.

Here's what we did today:  LA 8B  -  Today, we showcased our Genius Hour projects to the class. We completed a self-reflection on how we felt we did. We also started a research assignment (in pairs) for the novel we will start after Spring Break, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. LA 8E -   Today, we had our free reading block in the library and also spent a block working on our Genius Hour assignments. Please make sure they are complete for Tuesday. *You will NOT have class time on Monday. Social 9A  - Today, we completed a formative quiz on economics and started a case study assignment about the Canadian entertainment industry (On Google Classroom - due Monday).  Chapter 6 assessment - Wednesday, March 21st Italy's Election CE due MONDAY!    *Don't forget about Homeroom Wars on March 21st!
