Social 8B  - Virus Project due tomorrow; today we read about the growth of cities in Italy; please make sure you complete the fill in the blanks activity about the information that was discussed in class (pages 29-32)

 Social 8H - Virus Project due tomorrow

Social 8E - today we read about the growth of cities in Italy; please make sure you complete the fill in the blanks activity about the information that was discussed in class (pages 29-32)

 Social 9A - we started our chapter 1 project today - please continue planning and be prepared to work on it in class tomorrow; it is due Tuesday and it is on Google Classroom. Chapter 1 test is also Tuesday. 

Social 9G - complete chapter 1 booklet; study for chapter 1 test (Tuesday, November 3rd)

9G - please bring in magazine and cookie dough orders! Remember each order you bring in will reduce your costs for the Christmas Activity Day :)

Here's what happened today:  Social 8A and 8C:  Today, we read about how Japan responded to all the pressure to open their borders. Please review pages 177-179 if needed.  Social 8G:  Today, we talked about the strict roles in Japanese society, including the samurai code of Bushido.  Social  9B:  Today, we continued watching the documentary film, Sicko, which presents some of the differences between public and private health care systems.  All Students: WEM Activity Day Permission Forms are now on Powerschool. Please fill out ASAP to ensure a spot!  Important Dates Coming Up: Friday, May 31st - Activity Day @ WEM Wednesday, June 5th - Early Dismissal and ALL CE DUE
