Social 8H -  Chapter 1 Test TOMORROW

Social 8E - please finish filling out your chart on the powerful city-state of Genoa (pages 42-44); Chapter 1 Test Monday

9G - please bring in magazine and cookie dough orders! Remember each order you bring in will reduce your costs for the Christmas Activity Day :)

All Classes - please hand in any missing work (Current events included) by FRIDAY so that it can be included in your term 1 report card :)

Here's what happened today:  Social 8A and 8C:  Today, we read about how Japan responded to all the pressure to open their borders. Please review pages 177-179 if needed.  Social 8G:  Today, we talked about the strict roles in Japanese society, including the samurai code of Bushido.  Social  9B:  Today, we continued watching the documentary film, Sicko, which presents some of the differences between public and private health care systems.  All Students: WEM Activity Day Permission Forms are now on Powerschool. Please fill out ASAP to ensure a spot!  Important Dates Coming Up: Friday, May 31st - Activity Day @ WEM Wednesday, June 5th - Early Dismissal and ALL CE DUE

LAST BLOG of the YEAR!!!

Thank you, everyone, for the incredible year at ELJHS. As most of you know, this is my last year here as I am moving into administration at Ecole Champs Vallee in Beaumont in September.  I wish you all the best, wherever life takes you.
