TGI... Friday, September 7th

Here's what we did today: 

8A  - we continued talking about Worldview (pages 4-5 in text). Please make sure that you are done questions 6-8 in your booklets. We also received our first Current Event! The BC Wild Fire questions are due September 17th! 

8C - we continued talking about Worldview (pages 6-8 in text). Please make sure that you are done questions 9-11 in your booklets. We also received our first Current Event! The BC Wild Fire questions are due September 17th!

8G - we continued talking about Worldview (pages 4-5 in text). Please make sure that you are done questions 6-8 in your booklets. We also received our first Current Event! The BC Wild Fire questions are due September 17th!

 9B - we completed an activity which is helping us get ton know our textbooks! 

 Important Dates coming up: 
Thursday, September 13th - Conroy Class Cross Country Run (afternoon)
Friday, September 14th - NO SCHOOL - PD Day

Here's what happened today:  Social 8A and 8C:  Today, we read about how Japan responded to all the pressure to open their borders. Please review pages 177-179 if needed.  Social 8G:  Today, we talked about the strict roles in Japanese society, including the samurai code of Bushido.  Social  9B:  Today, we continued watching the documentary film, Sicko, which presents some of the differences between public and private health care systems.  All Students: WEM Activity Day Permission Forms are now on Powerschool. Please fill out ASAP to ensure a spot!  Important Dates Coming Up: Friday, May 31st - Activity Day @ WEM Wednesday, June 5th - Early Dismissal and ALL CE DUE

Monday, December 8th

9E - please bring in your Activity Day permission forms and money ASAP! Turkey Fundraiser has officially begun:  9E Goal - 26 turkeys ($520)        Current 9E total: $20.00 (1 turkey!) To be completed....  ALL classes - Current Events are due December 11th 8B and 8D: Chapter 2 test on Monday, December 15th *8B: bring in your Indiana Jones permission slips!
