Tuesday, June 4th

Here's what happened today: 

Social 8A and 8C: Today, we started talking about Japan's modernization after opening its borders. Please review pages 190-193 if needed. Tomorrow, we will start our chapter 6 project. 

Social 8G: Today, we talked about how Japan focused on creating a civilized and strong society during the Edo Period.  

Social 9B: Today, we started talking about chapter 9: how government decisions are made in regards to environmental issues. Please review pages 298-299 and 302-304 if needed.

Wednesday, June 5th - Early Dismissal and ALL CE DUE 
Monday, June 24th - LA Final Exam
Tuesday, June 25th - Math Final Exam 
Wednesday, June 26th - Social Final Exam

Here's what we did today -   8B LA   - Today, we had our free reading block in the library and read chapter 14 of The Giver. Be sure to catch up on the chapter questions over the long weekend!  8E LA   - Today, we listened to Chapter 2 of The Outsiders. We continued working on the novel study questions and created our character posters that we will work on throughout the novel. Please make sure you have the vocab and questions done for chapters 1 and 2! 9A Social  -   No class today!
