Tuesday, November 7th

Here's what we did today - 

8B LA  - Today, we started to work on our identity collage. this will help us understand the identity of the characters in The Giver. 

8E LA  - No class today! Make sure you have t=completed the first two activities in the 6+1 Trait booklet.  

9A Social - We started to look at chapter 2 - The Youth Criminal Justice Act; please complete the questions on pages 2-4 in your booklet. 
Farewell to Gord Downie CE due November 10th

9E Social - Today, we kept working hard on our chapter 1 project. We will have one more class on Thursday - it is due Friday!

I hope everyone had a great weekend and you are ready for a busy week!  8B and 8C Social - Your Chapter 5 Test is tomorrow!!  Remember to review the vocabulary as well.  *Your new Current Event is due June 4th!  8D and 8G LA - Your poetry projects need to be handed in tomorrow! Be ready to present tomorrow as well!  West Edmonton Mall Fieldtrip is Friday! There are 22 days of school left! Woo hoo! Ponder This:  The more you have of it, the less you see. What is it?

Wednesday, December 13th

Here's what we did today -   8B LA   - No class today due to assembly! Please  continue working on the two projects  for our TIC TAC TOE (Due Dec 21).  8E LA   - Today, we listened to chapter 10.  Please make sure that you are caught up on your novel study questions (ch. 1-7) and your TIC TACT TOE (everything is due Dec 21!). 9A Social  - No class today due to assembly! Please check Powerschool for your chapter 2 assessment and political cartoon marks.  Supreme Court New Addition due December 19th 9E   Social  - Today, started talking about chapter 3 - Individual Rights and Freedoms Supreme Court New Addition due December 19th Seeing as the Christmas Holidays are right around the corner, ELJHS is participating in their annual Turkey Drive fundraiser again this year. $20 buys a family in need a turkey dinner.
