Monday, December 11th

Here's what we did today - 

8B LA  - Today, we read chapter 20 and continued working on the three projects we will due for our TIC TAC TOE (Due Dec 21). 

8E LA  - Today, we listened to chapters 6 and 7.  Please make sure that you are caught up on your novel study questions (ch. 1-7) and your TIC TACT OE (everything is due Dec 21!).

9A Social - we completed our chapter 2 assessment. Marks on Powerschool soon!

Seeing as the Christmas Holidays are right around the corner, ELJHS is participating in their annual Turkey Drive fundraiser again this year. $20 buys a family in need a turkey dinner. Students are encouraged to bring in what they can to help out people in our very own community. 
Important Dates coming up - 
Wednesday, December 13th - Christmas Activity Day forms/payment due (all on Parent Portal)
Friday, December 22nd - Christmas Activity Day :)

Here's what we did today:  LA 8B  -  Today, we showcased our Genius Hour projects to the class. We completed a self-reflection on how we felt we did. We also started a research assignment (in pairs) for the novel we will start after Spring Break, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. Here's what we did yesterday AND today:  8A   -   Yesterday, we talked about current events and started a discussion about the Silk Road.
