Wednesday, June 22nd - Gr 9 Math (gr 8s - reg classes)
Thursday, June 23rd - All grades Language Arts
Friday, June 24th - All grades Social Studies
Monday, June 27th - Gr 7-8 Math
Tuesday, June 28th  - Gr 7-8 Science

Studying Tip - use highlighters to code what you know about each topic you are studying: 
Green - I understand this really well
Orange - I understand the basic, but could use more review
Pink - I don't understand this material and need more practice and review

Here's what happened today:  Social 8A and 8C:  Today, we read about how Japan responded to all the pressure to open their borders. Please review pages 177-179 if needed.  Social 8G:  Today, we talked about the strict roles in Japanese society, including the samurai code of Bushido.  Social  9B:  Today, we continued watching the documentary film, Sicko, which presents some of the differences between public and private health care systems.  All Students: WEM Activity Day Permission Forms are now on Powerschool. Please fill out ASAP to ensure a spot!  Important Dates Coming Up: Friday, May 31st - Activity Day @ WEM Wednesday, June 5th - Early Dismissal and ALL CE DUE

LAST BLOG of the YEAR!!!

Thank you, everyone, for the incredible year at ELJHS. As most of you know, this is my last year here as I am moving into administration at Ecole Champs Vallee in Beaumont in September.  I wish you all the best, wherever life takes you.
