18 School Days to go...

 Here's what we did today:

LA 8B - Today, we discussed the two topics for the written final. We will write it during blocks 2 and 3 tomorrow.

LA 8E - Today, we watched All Summer in a Day and continued to work on the assigned questions on Monday. Written Final is Friday, June 8th.

Social 9A - Today, we took a peek at the chapter 9 project and continued to work on the chapter 9 booklet. 
BC Flooding CE due June 8th. 

Social 9E - Today, we talked about CO2 emissions and the Kyoto Protocol.
BC Flooding CE due June 8th. 

Important Dates Coming Up: 
Wednesday, June 6th - early dismissal

Friday, June 22nd - Language Arts Part B

Wednesday, November 29th

Here's what we did today -   8B LA   - Today, we wrote a three sentence prediction about what we think will happen in The Giver and started our character poster of Jonas.  8E LA   - Today, we listened to Chapter 1 of The Outsiders. We also started working on the novel study questions and created our character posters that we will work on throughout the novel.  9A Social  -   Today, we started thinking about what topic/issue we will create our political cartoon about. Idea/planning needs to be done for Monday so we can spend time completing it in class.
