That's it!

The end of the school year is finally upon us. I want to wish all of my students a restful, wonderful summer vacation. 

To my grade 8s, I hope to see many of you back in September, and to my grade 9s, I wish you all the best in grade 10! Please come back and visit when you can.

TGI... Friday, March 16th

Here's what we did today:  LA 8B  -  Today, we showcased our Genius Hour projects to the class. We completed a self-reflection on how we felt we did. We also started a research assignment (in pairs) for the novel we will start after Spring Break, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. LA 8E -   Today, we had our free reading block in the library and also spent a block working on our Genius Hour assignments. Please make sure they are complete for Tuesday. *You will NOT have class time on Monday. Social 9A  - Today, we completed a formative quiz on economics and started a case study assignment about the Canadian entertainment industry (On Google Classroom - due Monday).  Chapter 6 assessment - Wednesday, March 21st Italy's Election CE due MONDAY!    *Don't forget about Homeroom Wars on March 21st!
