14 School Days to go...

Here's what we did today:

LA 8B - Today, we red All Summer in a Day by Ray Bradbury. We will watch the film version tomorrow and finish working on the questions.

LA 8E - Today, we discussed the two persuasive writing topics for your written final tomorrow!

Social 9A - Today, we continued to work on our chapter 9 projects. Be sure to keep up and complete work at home if needed. 
BC Flooding CE due TOMORROW!

Social 9E - Today, we took at look at different views of Oil Sands production and continued to watch the Nature of Things documentary about Chris Hadfield's experience photographing earth from the International Space Station.

TGI... Friday, March 16th

Here's what we did today:  LA 8B  -  Today, we showcased our Genius Hour projects to the class. We completed a self-reflection on how we felt we did. We also started a research assignment (in pairs) for the novel we will start after Spring Break, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. LA 8E -   Today, we had our free reading block in the library and also spent a block working on our Genius Hour assignments. Please make sure they are complete for Tuesday. *You will NOT have class time on Monday. Social 9A  - Today, we completed a formative quiz on economics and started a case study assignment about the Canadian entertainment industry (On Google Classroom - due Monday).  Chapter 6 assessment - Wednesday, March 21st Italy's Election CE due MONDAY!    *Don't forget about Homeroom Wars on March 21st!
