Here's what happened today: 

Social 8A and 8C - Today, we talked about the Age of Exploration and the 4 countries involved in the race for new trade routes: Portugal, Spain, England and France. Please review pages 103-108 if needed and have your assigned questions done for Tuesday.

Recruiting Doctors CE due January 15th

Social 8G - Today, we talked about European expansion west. Please be sure that you are done up to question 62 in your booklets.

Social 9B - Today, we continued to talk about the charter of rights and freedoms and the workplace. Please review pages 113-115 if needed. Chapter 3 Assessment: TUESDAY!

Here's what happened today:  Social 8A and 8C:  Today, we read about how Japan responded to all the pressure to open their borders. Please review pages 177-179 if needed.  Social 8G:  Today, we talked about the strict roles in Japanese society, including the samurai code of Bushido.  Social  9B:  Today, we continued watching the documentary film, Sicko, which presents some of the differences between public and private health care systems.  All Students: WEM Activity Day Permission Forms are now on Powerschool. Please fill out ASAP to ensure a spot!  Important Dates Coming Up: Friday, May 31st - Activity Day @ WEM Wednesday, June 5th - Early Dismissal and ALL CE DUE

LAST BLOG of the YEAR!!!

Thank you, everyone, for the incredible year at ELJHS. As most of you know, this is my last year here as I am moving into administration at Ecole Champs Vallee in Beaumont in September.  I wish you all the best, wherever life takes you.
