Here's what we did today: 

8A  - Today,  we started talking about the lives of people during the Renaissance. Please review pages 76-78 if needed. 
Chapter 2 Assessment December 10th 
Romaine Lettuce CE due December 10th. 

8C -   Today, we looked at the role of men and women during the Renaissance. Be sure to review pages 74-75 about Leonardo da Vinci.

8G -  Today, we did some catch up work as many students were away.

Here's what happened today:  Social 8A and 8C:  Today, we read about how Japan responded to all the pressure to open their borders. Please review pages 177-179 if needed.  Social 8G:  Today, we talked about the strict roles in Japanese society, including the samurai code of Bushido.  Social  9B:  Today, we continued watching the documentary film, Sicko, which presents some of the differences between public and private health care systems.  All Students: WEM Activity Day Permission Forms are now on Powerschool. Please fill out ASAP to ensure a spot!  Important Dates Coming Up: Friday, May 31st - Activity Day @ WEM Wednesday, June 5th - Early Dismissal and ALL CE DUE
