TGI... Friday, December 14th

Here's what we did today: 

8A  - Today, we talked about the formation of citizenship and national identity in the Renaissance. Be sure that your national identity collage (on Google Classroom) is done for Monday !

8G -  Today, we talked about gold as a motivation for exploration. We also watched a video on exploration. Be sure that you are done up to question 23 n your booklets.

9B - Today, we reviewed the 5 categories of rights and freedoms and you were assigned your poster activity. We will continue to work on your posters on Monday.

Here's what happened today:  Social 8A and 8C:  Today, we read about how Japan responded to all the pressure to open their borders. Please review pages 177-179 if needed.  Social 8G:  Today, we talked about the strict roles in Japanese society, including the samurai code of Bushido.  Social  9B:  Today, we continued watching the documentary film, Sicko, which presents some of the differences between public and private health care systems.  All Students: WEM Activity Day Permission Forms are now on Powerschool. Please fill out ASAP to ensure a spot!  Important Dates Coming Up: Friday, May 31st - Activity Day @ WEM Wednesday, June 5th - Early Dismissal and ALL CE DUE
