Here's what we did today: 

8A  - Today, we talked about religious reform during the Renaissance and looked at the influence of Martin Luther. Please make sure your activity sheet is done for tomorrow.

8G -  Today, we started talking about the Age of Exploration. You should be done up to number 9 in your question booklet.

Permission forms are now online for our Christmas Activity Day on December 21st. Please complete by December 14th to ensure you get a spot.

Here's what happened today:  Social 8A and 8C:  Today, we read about how Japan responded to all the pressure to open their borders. Please review pages 177-179 if needed.  Social 8G:  Today, we talked about the strict roles in Japanese society, including the samurai code of Bushido.  Social  9B:  Today, we continued watching the documentary film, Sicko, which presents some of the differences between public and private health care systems.  All Students: WEM Activity Day Permission Forms are now on Powerschool. Please fill out ASAP to ensure a spot!  Important Dates Coming Up: Friday, May 31st - Activity Day @ WEM Wednesday, June 5th - Early Dismissal and ALL CE DUE
