Here's what we did today: 

8A  - Today, we talked about current events and started looking at chapter 3 - Exploration and Expansionism. 
NASA Lands on Mars CE due December 17th.

8C -   Today, we talked about current events and started looking at chapter 3 - Exploration and Expansionism. 
NASA Lands on Mars CE due December 17th.

8G -  Today, we wrote our chapter 2 assessment. Check Powerschool for your grade soon! 
NASA Lands on Mars CE due December 17th.

9B - Today,  we had a guest speaker talk to us about the dangers of vaping. 
Romaine Lettuce CE due December 12th.
Permission forms are now online for our Christmas Activity Day on December 21st. Please complete by December 14th to ensure you get a spot.

December 22nd to January 6th - Christmas Break

Wednesday, May 22nd

Here's what happened today:  Social 8A and 8C:  Today, we read about how Japan responded to all the pressure to open their borders. Please review pages 177-179 if needed.  Social 8G:  Today, we talked about the strict roles in Japanese society, including the samurai code of Bushido.  Social  9B:  Today, we continued watching the documentary film, Sicko, which presents some of the differences between public and private health care systems.  All Students: WEM Activity Day Permission Forms are now on Powerschool. Please fill out ASAP to ensure a spot!  Important Dates Coming Up: Friday, May 31st - Activity Day @ WEM Wednesday, June 5th - Early Dismissal and ALL CE DUE

LAST BLOG of the YEAR!!!

Thank you, everyone, for the incredible year at ELJHS. As most of you know, this is my last year here as I am moving into administration at Ecole Champs Vallee in Beaumont in September.  I wish you all the best, wherever life takes you.
