Tuesday, March 13th

Here's what we did today: 

LA 8B -  Today, we continued working on gathering research and information about our Genius Hour topic. We also talked about how to properly cite websites that we use to gather information.

LA 8E -  Today, we continued working on gathering research and information about our Genius Hour topic. We also talked about how to properly cite websites that we use to gather information.

Social 9A - Today, we discussed Supply and Demand (p. 210-211). Be sure to complete the activity that was assigned today for Thursday.
Italy's Election CE due March 19th 

Social 9E - Today, we finished working on the case study about Canada and the US shifting left or right - due tomorrow (for marks). We also started talking about Supply and Demand (p. 210-211) and will continue discussing it tomorrow.

Wednesday, December 13th

Here's what we did today -   8B LA   - No class today due to assembly! Please  continue working on the two projects  for our TIC TAC TOE (Due Dec 21).  8E LA   - Today, we listened to chapter 10.  Please make sure that you are caught up on your novel study questions (ch. 1-7) and your TIC TACT TOE (everything is due Dec 21!). 9A Social  - No class today due to assembly! Please check Powerschool for your chapter 2 assessment and political cartoon marks.  Supreme Court New Addition due December 19th 9E   Social  - Today, started talking about chapter 3 - Individual Rights and Freedoms Supreme Court New Addition due December 19th Seeing as the Christmas Holidays are right around the corner, ELJHS is participating in their annual Turkey Drive fundraiser again this year. $20 buys a family in need a turkey dinner. Thursday, November 30th

Here's what we did today -   8B LA   - Today, we had our free reading block in the library and read chapter 14 of The Giver. Be sure to catch up on the chapter questions over the long weekend!  8E LA   - Today, we listened to Chapter 2 of The Outsiders. We continued working on the novel study questions and created our character posters that we will work on throughout the novel. Please make sure you have the vocab and questions done for chapters 1 and 2! 9A Social  -   No class today!
