Tuesday, March 6th

Here's what we did today: 

LA 8B -  Today, we continued working on gathering research and information about our Genius Hour topic.

LA 8E -  No class today!

Social 9A - We started looking at chapter 6: Economic Systems. We also started talking about the concept of scarcity. Be sure that you have finished the assigned questions and continue working on your vocab.
SpaceX Launch CE DUE March 9th 

Social 9E - Today, we talked about the concept of scarcity (pages 199-203). Be sure that you finish the assigned questions and continue to work on your vocab sheet.

Here's what happened today:  Social 8A and 8C:  Today, we read about how Japan responded to all the pressure to open their borders. Please review pages 177-179 if needed.  Social 8G:  Today, we talked about the strict roles in Japanese society, including the samurai code of Bushido.  Social  9B:  Today, we continued watching the documentary film, Sicko, which presents some of the differences between public and private health care systems.  All Students: WEM Activity Day Permission Forms are now on Powerschool. Please fill out ASAP to ensure a spot!  Important Dates Coming Up: Friday, May 31st - Activity Day @ WEM Wednesday, June 5th - Early Dismissal and ALL CE DUE
