Here's what we did today: 

LA 8B -  Today, we read chapter 9 of The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. Please make sure that you are caught up in your questions booklet - you should be caught up to chapter 9.

LA 8E - Today, we read chapters 9 and 10 of The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. Please make sure that you are caught up in your questions booklet - you should be caught up to chapter 10.

Social 9A - Today, we finished up chapter 7 by looking at GDP in North America and the impact of consumerism on the economy.  Make sure the assigned questions are done for Wednesday. Chapter 7 Assessment: April 25th

Social 9E - Today , we discussed Current Events.

Wednesday, December 13th

Here's what we did today -   8B LA   - No class today due to assembly! Please  continue working on the two projects  for our TIC TAC TOE (Due Dec 21).  8E LA   - Today, we listened to chapter 10.  Please make sure that you are caught up on your novel study questions (ch. 1-7) and your TIC TACT TOE (everything is due Dec 21!). 9A Social  - No class today due to assembly! Please check Powerschool for your chapter 2 assessment and political cartoon marks.  Supreme Court New Addition due December 19th 9E   Social  - Today, started talking about chapter 3 - Individual Rights and Freedoms Supreme Court New Addition due December 19th Seeing as the Christmas Holidays are right around the corner, ELJHS is participating in their annual Turkey Drive fundraiser again this year. $20 buys a family in need a turkey dinner. Thursday, November 30th

Here's what we did today -   8B LA   - Today, we had our free reading block in the library and read chapter 14 of The Giver. Be sure to catch up on the chapter questions over the long weekend!  8E LA   - Today, we listened to Chapter 2 of The Outsiders. We continued working on the novel study questions and created our character posters that we will work on throughout the novel. Please make sure you have the vocab and questions done for chapters 1 and 2! 9A Social  -   No class today!
