TGI...Friday, April 27th

Here's what we did today: 

LA 8B -  Today, we finished The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. We will start watching the film version Monday. Question booklets will be due Wednesday.

LA 8E - Today, we started watching the film version of The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. We are filling out a Venn diagram comparing the book and film versions.  Question booklets are due Monday! The novel assessment will be on Wednesday.

Social 9A - Today, we started talking about social programs in Canada. Be sure to complete the pre-test activity for Tuesday. Is your RANT handed in? If not, please complete it over the weekend and turn in Monday.

Here's what we did today:  LA 8B  -  Today, we showcased our Genius Hour projects to the class. We completed a self-reflection on how we felt we did. We also started a research assignment (in pairs) for the novel we will start after Spring Break, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. Here's what we did yesterday AND today:  8A   -   Yesterday, we talked about current events and started a discussion about the Silk Road. Today, we watched a documentary about the Silk Road and wrote down 10 interesting facts.  CRA Scam Current Event due October 9th.  8C  -  Yesterday, we talked about current events and started a discussion about the Silk Road.
