Here's what we did today:

LA 8B - Today, we read chapter 10 of The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. Please make sure that you are caught up in your questions booklet - you should be caught up to chapter 10. We also had our free reading block in the library.

LA 8E - Today, we read chapters 11 and 12 of The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. Please make sure that you are caught up in your questions booklet - you should be caught up to chapter 12. There will be a quiz on chapters 7-11 tomorrow.

Social 9A - No class today. Make sure the assigned questions on GDP are done for tomorrow. Chapter 7 Assessment: April 25th
Cell Phone Alert CE due April 25th

Social 9E - Today, we finished watching Made in Bangladesh and answered some reflection questions about whether an event like that would impact your spending as a consumer.

Here's what we did today - 8B LA - Today, we wrote a three sentence prediction about what we think will happen in The Giver and started our character poster of Jonas. 8E LA - Today, we listened to Chapter 1 of The Outsiders. We also started working on the novel study questions and created our character posters that we will work on throughout the novel. 9A Social - Today, we started thinking about what topic/issue we will create our political cartoon about. Here's what we did today - 8B LA - No class today due to assembly! Please continue working on the two projects for our TIC TAC TOE (Due Dec 21). 8E LA - Today, we listened to chapter 10. Please make sure that you are caught up on your novel study questions (ch. 1-7) and your TIC TACT TOE (everything is due Dec 21!). 9A Social - No class today due to assembly! Please check Powerschool for your chapter 2 assessment and political cartoon marks. Supreme Court New Addition due December 19th 9E Social - Today, started talking about chapter 3 - Individual Rights and Freedoms Supreme Court New Addition due December 19th Seeing as the Christmas Holidays are right around the corner, ELJHS is participating in their annual Turkey Drive fundraiser again this year. $20 buys a family in need a turkey dinner.
