Here's what we did today -   8B LA   - Today, we had our free reading block in the library and read chapter 14 of The Giver. We continued working on the novel study questions and created our character posters that we will work on throughout the novel. This is a great introduction to The Outsiders, which we start next week!  Thursday/Friday - we are completing a booklet for On the Sidewalk, Bleeding and working on a creative activity to showcase our own identity.  9A Social  -   No class today! Here's what we did today -   8B LA   - Today, we read Chapter 3 of The Giver and started the chapter questions (on google Classroom). 8E LA   - We talked about the structure of a good paragraph and the importance of the topic sentence.  9A Social  - We had an entrance card about the YCJA and criminal code (check PowerSchool for mark!) and started working on article reviews.
