TGI... Friday November 17th

Here's what we did today - 

8B LA  - Today, we watched the Pixar short Partly Cloudy and completed a film plot map. 

8E LA  - No class today! Continue to work on your writing a paragraph booklet. We will work on it in class on Monday. 

9A Social - We continued working on our articles analysis - it should be handed in by Monday!! We also read pages 66-68 about consequences of the YCJA - paragraph describing the possible consequences (p.66-67) and information the courts look at (p.68) due Tuesday. 
Olympics in Korea CE due November 21st

9E Social - Today, we had an entrance card about the structure of the YCJA. We also chose an article to analyze - due Monday (it's on Google classroom).

Here's what happened today:  Social 8A and 8C:  Today, we read about how Japan responded to all the pressure to open their borders. Please review pages 177-179 if needed.  Social 8G:  Today, we talked about the strict roles in Japanese society, including the samurai code of Bushido.  Social  9B:  Today, we continued watching the documentary film, Sicko, which presents some of the differences between public and private health care systems.  All Students: WEM Activity Day Permission Forms are now on Powerschool. Please fill out ASAP to ensure a spot!  Important Dates Coming Up: Friday, May 31st - Activity Day @ WEM Wednesday, June 5th - Early Dismissal and ALL CE DUE
