Happy Halloween!

Here's what we did today - 

8B LA  - Today we worked on some Halloween activities! 

8E LA  - Today we read The Tell-Tale Heart and watched the film version. You now need to make sure all of your analyses are complete and decide which one to hand in for marks on Friday. 

9A Social - Today we had a review of Chapter 1.  Important dates: Chapter 1 project due October 31st; Chapter 1 Test on November 3rd.

 9E Social - Today we talked about current events.

Wednesday, November 29th

Here's what we did today -   8B LA   - Today, we wrote a three sentence prediction about what we think will happen in The Giver and started our character poster of Jonas.  8E LA   - Today, we listened to Chapter 1 of The Outsiders. We also started working on the novel study questions and created our character posters that we will work on throughout the novel.  9A Social  -   Today, we started thinking about what topic/issue we will create our political cartoon about. Idea/planning needs to be done for Monday so we can spend time completing it in class. TGI... Friday, March 16th

Here's what we did today:  LA 8B  -  Today, we showcased our Genius Hour projects to the class. We completed a self-reflection on how we felt we did. We also started a research assignment (in pairs) for the novel we will start after Spring Break, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. LA 8E -   Today, we had our free reading block in the library and also spent a block working on our Genius Hour assignments. Please make sure they are complete for Tuesday. *You will NOT have class time on Monday.
