8B LA  - we started the final drafts of our I Am Poems 

8E LA  - we read chapter 13. Continue to work on your 100 points project.  Due Date: October 11

9A Social -we started talking about the legislative branch of the federal government

Monday, December 18th

Here's what we did today -   8B LA   - Today, we started watching the film version of The Giver and are completing an activity comparing it to the book. Please  continue working on The Giver chapter questions and the two projects  for our TIC TAC TOE (Due Dec 21).  8E LA   - Today, we finished The Outsiders! We will start the movie tomorrow. Please make sure that you are caught up on your novel study questions (ch. 1-11) and your TIC TAC TOE (everything is due Dec 21!). 9A Social  - Today, we focused on the individual rights and freedoms that we are guaranteed under the Charter (p. 96-98). We stared creating a poster of these rights (due Thursday) and will have a quiz on them (also on Thursday!) Please make sure that you keep up with the chapter booklet! Wednesday, November 29th

Here's what we did today -   8B LA   - Today, we wrote a three sentence prediction about what we think will happen in The Giver and started our character poster of Jonas.  8E LA   - Today, we listened to Chapter 1 of The Outsiders. We also started working on the novel study questions and created our character posters that we will work on throughout the novel.  9A Social  -   Today, we started thinking about what topic/issue we will create our political cartoon about. Idea/planning needs to be done for Monday so we can spend time completing it in class.
