Here's what we did today - 

8B LA  - Our persuasive turkey letters should be done and handed in! 

8E LA  - we finished We All Fall Down. IF you haven't finished the book, please do so  and continue to work on your 100 points project.  Due Date: October 11

9A Social -No class today. Catch up on the chapter 1 booklet over the weekend!
CE Research due October 12

9E Social - we continued talking about the legislative branch of the federal government (p.28-29)
CE Research due October 12

Important Dates coming up - 
Monday, October 9th - Thanksgiving No School 
Friday, October 13th - Student Vote
Friday, October 20th - No School PD Day

Here's what happened today:  Social 8A and 8C:  Today, we read about how Japan responded to all the pressure to open their borders. Please review pages 177-179 if needed.  Social 8G:  Today, we talked about the strict roles in Japanese society, including the samurai code of Bushido.  Social  9B:  Today, we continued watching the documentary film, Sicko, which presents some of the differences between public and private health care systems.  All Students: WEM Activity Day Permission Forms are now on Powerschool. Please fill out ASAP to ensure a spot!  Important Dates Coming Up: Friday, May 31st - Activity Day @ WEM Wednesday, June 5th - Early Dismissal and ALL CE DUE
