Monday, December 11th

Here's what we did today - 

8B LA  - Today, we read chapter 20 and continued working on the three projects we will due for our TIC TAC TOE (Due Dec 21). 

8E LA  - Today, we listened to chapters 6 and 7.  Please make sure that you are caught up on your novel study questions (ch. 1-7) and your TIC TACT OE (everything is due Dec 21!).

9A Social - we completed our chapter 2 assessment. Marks on Powerschool soon!

9E Social - Today, we talked about current events. Chapter 2 Test is TOMORROW!

Seeing as the Christmas Holidays are right around the corner, ELJHS is participating in their annual Turkey Drive fundraiser again this year. $20 buys a family in need a turkey dinner. Students are encouraged to bring in what they can to help out people in our very own community. 
Important Dates coming up - 
Wednesday, December 13th - Christmas Activity Day forms/payment due (all on Parent Portal)
Friday, December 22nd - Christmas Activity Day :)

Here's what we did today -   8B LA   - Today, we wrote a three sentence prediction about what we think will happen in The Giver and started our character poster of Jonas.  8E LA   - Today, we listened to Chapter 1 of The Outsiders. We also started working on the novel study questions and created our character posters that we will work on throughout the novel.  9A Social  -   Today, we started thinking about what topic/issue we will create our political cartoon about. Please  continue working on the two projects  for our TIC TAC TOE (Due Dec 21).  8E LA   - Today, we listened to chapter 10.  Please make sure that you are caught up on your novel study questions (ch. 1-7) and your TIC TACT TOE (everything is due Dec 21!). 9A Social  - No class today due to assembly! Thursday, November 30th

Here's what we did today -   8B LA   - Today, we had our free reading block in the library and read chapter 14 of The Giver. Be sure to catch up on the chapter questions over the long weekend!  8E LA   - Today, we listened to Chapter 2 of The Outsiders. We continued working on the novel study questions and created our character posters that we will work on throughout the novel. Please make sure you have the vocab and questions done for chapters 1 and 2! 9A Social  -   No class today!
