Monday, December 4th

Here's what we did today - 

8B LA  - Today, we read Chapter 15 and started planning the three projects we will due for our TIC TAC TOE

8E LA  - Today, we listened to Chapter 3 of The Outsiders. We continued working on the novel study questions and created our character posters that we will work on throughout the novel. We also started planning our TIC TAC TOE projects. 

9A Social -  We had an entire block to work on our political cartoon. Due Friday! 
Chapter 2 Test is Monday, December 11th! Start reviewing now :)

9E Social - Today, we talked about different opinions about how effective consequences of the YCJA are. Chapter 2 Test is Tuesday, December 12th! Start reviewing now :)

LAST BLOG of the YEAR!!!

Thank you, everyone, for the incredible year at ELJHS. As most of you know, this is my last year here as I am moving into administration at Ecole Champs Vallee in Beaumont in September.  I wish you all the best, wherever life takes you. Wednesday, May 22nd

Here's what happened today:  Social 8A and 8C:  Today, we read about how Japan responded to all the pressure to open their borders. Please review pages 177-179 if needed.  Social 8G:  Today, we talked about the strict roles in Japanese society, including the samurai code of Bushido.  Social  9B:  Today, we continued watching the documentary film, Sicko, which presents some of the differences between public and private health care systems.  All Students: WEM Activity Day Permission Forms are now on Powerschool. Please fill out ASAP to ensure a spot!  Important Dates Coming Up: Friday, May 31st - Activity Day @ WEM Wednesday, June 5th - Early Dismissal and ALL CE DUE
