Tuesday, December 5th

Here's what we did today - 

8B LA  - Today, we read Chapters 16 and 17 and continued working on the three projects we will due for our TIC TAC TOE (Due Dec 21)

8E LA  - Today, we listened to Chapter 4 of The Outsiders. We continued working on the novel study questions and created our character posters that we will work on throughout the novel. We also started planning our TIC TAC TOE projects (Due Dec 21)

9A Social -  No class today! Be sure to get your political cartoon done for Friday! 
Chapter 2 Test is Monday, December 11th! Start reviewing now :)

9E Social - Today, we talked about what a jury is and the role they play in the justice system. Chapter 2 Test is Tuesday, December 12th! Start reviewing now :)

Here's what happened today:  Social 8A and 8C:  Today, we read about how Japan responded to all the pressure to open their borders. Please review pages 177-179 if needed.  Social 8G:  Today, we talked about the strict roles in Japanese society, including the samurai code of Bushido.  Social  9B:  Today, we continued watching the documentary film, Sicko, which presents some of the differences between public and private health care systems.  All Students: WEM Activity Day Permission Forms are now on Powerschool. Please fill out ASAP to ensure a spot!  Important Dates Coming Up: Friday, May 31st - Activity Day @ WEM Wednesday, June 5th - Early Dismissal and ALL CE DUE
