Here's what we did today -
8B LA - Today, we started watching the film version of The Giver and are completing an activity comparing it to the book. Please continue working on The Giver chapter questions and the two projects for our TIC TAC TOE (Due Dec 21).
8E LA - Today, we finished The Outsiders! We will start the movie tomorrow. Please make sure that you are caught up on your novel study questions (ch. 1-11) and your TIC TAC TOE (everything is due Dec 21!).
9A Social - Today, we focused on the individual rights and freedoms that we are guaranteed under the Charter (p. 96-98). We stared creating a poster of these rights (due Thursday) and will have a quiz on them (also on Thursday!) Please make sure that you keep up with the chapter booklet!

9E Social - Today, we started creating a poster for a chosen right or freedom. We will finish in class on Wednesday and will have a quiz on our individual rights and freedoms on Thursday.

Seeing as the Christmas Holidays are right around the corner, ELJHS is participating in their annual Turkey Drive fundraiser again this year. $20 buys a family in need a turkey dinner. Students are encouraged to bring in what they can to help out people in our very own community.
