TGI... Friday, December 15th

Here's what we did today - 

8B LA  - Please  continue working on The Giver chapter questions and the two projects  for our TIC TAC TOE (Due Dec 21). 

8E LA  - No class today!  Please make sure that you are caught up on your novel study questions (ch. 1-11) and your TIC TAC TOE (everything is due Dec 21!).

9A Social - Today we started Chapter 3 - Individual Rights and Freedoms. We read pages 88-95 and discussed the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Please make sure that you keep up with the booklet - you should be done questions 1-16.

9E Social - Today, we discussed the 5 sections of rights and freedoms in the Charter (pages 96-98). Make sure you have answered the questions that were handed out (also on Google Classroom).

Seeing as the Christmas Holidays are right around the corner, ELJHS is participating in their annual Turkey Drive fundraiser again this year. $20 buys a family in need a turkey dinner. Students are encouraged to bring in what they can to help out people in our very own community.

Here's what we did today -   8B LA   - Today, we wrote a three sentence prediction about what we think will happen in The Giver and started our character poster of Jonas.  8E LA   - Today, we listened to Chapter 1 of The Outsiders. Here's what we did today -   8B LA   - No class today due to assembly! Please  continue working on the two projects  for our TIC TAC TOE (Due Dec 21).  8E LA   - Today, we listened to chapter 10.  Please make sure that you are caught up on your novel study questions (ch. 1-7) and your TIC TACT TOE (everything is due Dec 21!). 9A Social  - No class today due to assembly! Thursday, November 30th

Here's what we did today -   8B LA   - Today, we had our free reading block in the library and read chapter 14 of The Giver. Be sure to catch up on the chapter questions over the long weekend!  8E LA   - Today, we listened to Chapter 2 of The Outsiders. We continued working on the novel study questions and created our character posters that we will work on throughout the novel. Please make sure you have the vocab and questions done for chapters 1 and 2! 9A Social  -   No class today!
