Here's what we did today:

LA 8B - Today, we started watching the film, "9." We are collecting evidence to help develop symbols for each character.

LA 8E - Today, we continued watch the film "9" and gathered information to create symbols for each of the characters.

Social 9A -No class today!

Social 9E -Today, we continued to look at political parties and their platforms. Chapter 8 assessment May 22nd.

Grade 9s - Galaxyland Activity Day (June 1st) permission forms are on Powerschool. Please be sure to fill it out and pay by May 25th to guarantee your spot for this fantastic day!

Here's what we did today - 8B LA - Today, we wrote a three sentence prediction about what we think will happen in The Giver and started our character poster of Jonas. 8E LA - Today, we listened to Chapter 1 of The Outsiders. We also started working on the novel study questions and created our character posters that we will work on throughout the novel. 9A Social - Today, we started thinking about what topic/issue we will create our political cartoon about. Here's what we did today - 8B LA - No class today due to assembly! Please continue working on the two projects for our TIC TAC TOE (Due Dec 21). 8E LA - Today, we listened to chapter 10. Please make sure that you are caught up on your novel study questions (ch. 1-7) and your TIC TACT TOE (everything is due Dec 21!). 9A Social - No class today due to assembly! Please check Powerschool for your chapter 2 assessment and political cartoon marks. Supreme Court New Addition due December 19th 9E Social - Today, started talking about chapter 3 - Individual Rights and Freedoms Supreme Court New Addition due December 19th Seeing as the Christmas Holidays are right around the corner, ELJHS is participating in their annual Turkey Drive fundraiser again this year. $20 buys a family in need a turkey dinner.
