Here's what we did today: 

 8A  -  Today, we watched a short documentation on the Black Plague and did research on a contagious illness. Quiz on what we have done so far on WEDNESDAY!

 8G - Today, we talked about current events and worked on our chapter 1 vocabulary activities. 
USMCA Trade Deal Current Event due October 24th

9B - Today, we researched bills/laws that have recently been discussed by parliament.

Here's what happened today:  Social 8A and 8C:  Today, we read about how Japan responded to all the pressure to open their borders. Please review pages 177-179 if needed.  Social 8G:  Today, we talked about the strict roles in Japanese society, including the samurai code of Bushido.  Social  9B:  Today, we continued watching the documentary film, Sicko, which presents some of the differences between public and private health care systems.  All Students: WEM Activity Day Permission Forms are now on Powerschool. Please fill out ASAP to ensure a spot!  Important Dates Coming Up: Friday, May 31st - Activity Day @ WEM Wednesday, June 5th - Early Dismissal and ALL CE DUE
