Tuesday, October 9th

Here's what we did today: 

8A  -  Today, we talked about current events. We also read about the Children's Crusade and started making a poster about it. We will work on it tomorrow!

8C - Today, we talked about current events. We also read about the Children's Crusade and started making a poster about it. We will work on it tomorrow!

8G - Today, we read about how the Renaissance began, including talking about the Crusades (p.19-21). We also started to work on our chapter 1 vocabulary activities.

9B - Today, we reviewed the legislative branch by completing a 4 question quiz. We also read about the Judicial branch and started an activity about the three branches put together. We will continue tomorrow. 
CRA Scam Current Event due October 11th

Here's what happened today:  Social 8A and 8C:  Today, we read about how Japan responded to all the pressure to open their borders. Please review pages 177-179 if needed.  Social 8G:  Today, we talked about the strict roles in Japanese society, including the samurai code of Bushido.  Social  9B:  Today, we continued watching the documentary film, Sicko, which presents some of the differences between public and private health care systems.  All Students: WEM Activity Day Permission Forms are now on Powerschool. Please fill out ASAP to ensure a spot!  Important Dates Coming Up: Friday, May 31st - Activity Day @ WEM Wednesday, June 5th - Early Dismissal and ALL CE DUE
