Here's what we did today: 

LA 8B - Today, we had our free reading block and some students presented their song analysis projects. If you haven't handed yours in all ready, please do so by tomorrow.

LA 8E -  Today, some students presented their song analysis projects. If you haven't handed yours in all ready, please do so by tomorrow. We also started a reading comprehension booklet, which we will finish tomorrow.

Social 9A - No class today! Please catch up on your slides presentation if needed!
Canada Launches Complaint CE DUE Tuesday, Feb 6th

Social 9E - Today, we discussed the Indian Act - please make sure you are caught up in the chapter 4 booklet.

Here's what we did today -   8B LA   - Today, we wrote a three sentence prediction about what we think will happen in The Giver and started our character poster of Jonas.  8E LA   - Today, we listened to Chapter 1 of The Outsiders. We also started working on the novel study questions and created our character posters that we will work on throughout the novel.  9A Social  -   Today, we started thinking about what topic/issue we will create our political cartoon about. Idea/planning needs to be done for Monday so we can spend time completing it in class.
